Words cannot express how much I love you. Sorry for being a rebellious teen, sorry for all the times I’ve hurt you.. believe me it was never my intention. You’re my gem mamma. JazakAllah Kheir for everything you did and continue to do for me. I pray to Allah that He forgives your sins and grant you jannatul firdaws.. Ameen. Thumma Ameen.
This one is for you mamma. lots of love and hugs
your baby,
A
I got this as a fwd.
If the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) visited you,
Just for a day or two.
If he came unexpectedly,
I wonder what you’d do.
Oh, I know you’d give your nicest room,
To such an honored guest,
And all the food you’d serve to him,
Would be your very best,
And you would keep assuring him, you’re glad to have him there,
That serving him in your home,
Is a joy beyond compare.
BUT …
When you see him coming,
Would you meet him at the door,
With arms outstretched in welcome,
To your visitor?
OR …
Would you have to change your clothes
Before you let him in ?
Or hide some magazines
And put the Qur’an where they had been ?
Would you still watch R-rated movies,
On your TV set ?
Or would you rush to switch it off,
Before He gets upset ?
Would you turn off the radio,
And hope He hadn’t heard ?
And wish you hadn’t uttered,
That last loud, hasty word ?
Would you hide away your music,
And instead take Hadith books out ?
Could you let him walk right in, or would you rush about ?
AND, I wonder …
If the Prophet spent A day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing
The things you always do ?
Would you go right on saying
The things you always say ?
Would life for you continue
As it does from day to day ?
Would your family conversation
Keep up its usual pace ?
And would you find it hard each meal
To say a table grace ?
Would you keep up each every prayer
Without putting on a frown ?
And would you always jump up early
For prayers at dawn ?
Would you sing the songs you always sing
And read the books you read ?
And let him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed ?
Would you take the prophet with you
Everywhere you plan to go ?
Or, would you, maybe, change your plans,
Just for a day or so ?
Would you be glad to have him meet your very closest friends?
Or, would you hope they’d stay away
Until his visit ends?
Would you be glad to have him stay
Forever on and on?
OR …
Would you sigh with great relief,
When he at last was gone ?
It might be interesting to know
The things that you would do
If the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), in person, came to spend some time with you…..
Now lets just ask yourself:
Am I following Prophet Muhammad (SAW), pattern of Life as Ordained by ALLAH? (SWT)
Am I really a Muslim?
Or, do I just have a Muslim name?
Am i just a seasonal Muslim (Fridays, Eid, Ramadan, etc)
Is it not time to change?
So,
If The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) visited you,…..
PS: If we CANNOT face Muhammad (SAW) then how do we expect to FACE ALLAH (SWT) one day soon?!

It was saturday afternoon. My brother left for salat-al Asr. An hour passed by… he didn’t show up. My mom started getting worried, I tried comforting her. A few minutes tick by, and I felt the panic in me..where is he, he couldn’t have met his friends, they aren’t here in this place. We waited for a few minutes more before going down searching for him. I half expected to find him lying unconscious by the stairs. He stood in the sun for 2 hrs, anything could have happened. We searched the area around the masjid…no sign of him..maybe he’s come back home. No, he’s not home too. I tried reaching his cell… with no such luck..By now I was on the verge of tears. The last thing he did before leaving was hit me on the shoulder playfully. Few minutes later I hear him…he’s back! Alhamdulillah…he’d bumped into an old school mate in the masjid..
This incident made me realize how much I really love my bro, a lot of the time we are either arguing or ignoring each other. It made me cherish his company..anyone can be out of your life in a matter of seconds….death is inevitable and unpredictable. never take people, especially your family for granted!
and yeah, every time we get into an argument, I tell my bro, why did you show up that day, we were just about to cut the cake you know..ha!
