I’m horrified…

and just can’t get this outta my head. it’s a sad, sad world

Death

Today, 2 hrs back to be precise, my cousin’s husbands’s co-worker passed away from a severe heart attack. He was only 30 yrs old, newly married w/ no past history of medical issues. just a healthy guy who was looking forward to go back to his home country to see his wife and baby girl in a few days. He was at work and about to go for the lunch break..he had no idea that malak al mawt had come to take away his soul..

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ – وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلْـلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. And the Face of your Lord full of majesty and honor will remain forever) ﴿55:26,27

- كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial: to Us must ye return. (21:35)

sick

I’m sick, sick, sick. down with cold, fever, earache, throat ache. pretty much all of my face is stressed! I’ve got Eid holidays until 5th of next month. that’s like one of the best things about living in a ‘muslim’ country. I’ll be back after Eid insha’Allah.

p.s- an early Eid Mubarak everyone!

It’s that time of the year..

…when I’ve to start a new year at college. could I be any sadder? I learned a lot in my freshman year. how to adjust into a new environment, how to stick to my values and beliefs..it wasn’t easy but I guess I’m better equipped to face college now walhamdulillah . I’ve got like 7 subjects in hand +ramadhan. please pray I can balance dunya and deen…insha’Allah. I wont be blogging for a month now. stay good and I hope yall have a very ajr-ful ramadhan!

dear Mamma

Words cannot express how much I love you. Sorry for being a rebellious teen, sorry for all the times I’ve hurt you.. believe me it was never my intention. You’re my gem mamma.
